Globe Award National Champions

Candidates for Globe Award are identified from across the world and from among these candidates, nominees are selected for each of the four Globe Award categories: sustainable innovation, sustainable cities, sustainable reporting and sustainable research, by a jury of experts. Additional nominees come to the Globe Award competition through national competitions. Together, these nominees represent the world’s best examples of sustainability. A Globe Award Laureate for each category is chosen from among the select group of nominees and announced publically at the Globe Forum in Stockholm, Sweden.

Globe Forum hosts a series of events across the globe to help sustainable innovations become reality. In conjunction with each of these Globe Forum events, National Editions of the Globe Award competition are held to identify National Champions in each hosting country. Additionally, any country interested in the Globe Award and wanting to identify, promote and support great sustainability cases can work with the Globe Award committee to organize their own search.

All National Champions automatically become nominees in their specific category to the Globe Award, receiving national and global recognition for their sustainability achievements.
